Trouble

My stupid sister wont stop nagging me to get rid of my cat that I have had since I was three. She wants her own kitty or puppy because all the pets we own are mine. My dad wont let her get anything unless she can convince me to get rid of Trouble. I am so upset about it because I love my cat dearly, he is literally the best cat I have ever known. But, hes caused a lot of damage to our house, plus he is extremely costly because he has a lot of medical issues. He is more expensive to take care of than my dog Rory, and no one in my family even likes him besides me. I don't even know what to do, I feel like a horrible person to even think about getting rid of him. =/
